3^rd Day

Milo - Coast - Acireale - Acitrezza Km. 40

Going down towards the sea, through the small Etnean mountain villages, it is possible to visit the "Cyclopes’ Coast".
Visit to Acitrezza, a fishermen’s village where stacks of volcanic lava were thrown to Ulysses by Polifemo after the cyclops was blinded in the story of Omero. (Photo)

These excursions do not present any technical difficulty, but for their length and some slopes to overcome, they are suitable for people who have a minimum of training.
